The word GRAND doesn't even do it justice! Paris is a place of grand architecture, grand food, and grand people with their grand wardrobe (or lack thereof). We found ourselves spinning in it's vastness. We quickly learned how to get from one place to another after getting lost a couple times. Having landmarks such as the Museum de Louvre, the Opera House, and the Eiffel Tower anchoring the city we figured it out and we were on our way!
We past by a fire station on our way out and noticed them being debriefed by their captain (I assuming anyway...):
And Day 2 was just as packed! Stay tuned for that post tonight just after we get a nice bottle of wine and some Italian food from Rome!
